About
My love for photography and video started when I got my first film camera at age 14. It was an old, used, Canon Rebel and I spent hours riding around Western Massachusetts on my motorized bike that my dad and I built; capturing waterfalls, nature, and wildlife (bike build pictured below.) We would develop the film in my dad’s dark room and then make prints to hang on the walls.
Fast forward to 2013, when I purchased my first drone - a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus. This was an entirely new perspective, and opened up new possibilities to start capturing photo and video. I was flying all day, every day that summer (my neighbors were likely less excited than I was about my new purchase). It sparked my interest in doing photo and video professionally, and I walked in to businesses asking if they’d like drone video of their lots, golf courses, or campuses. Some did, many had no idea what I meant, but I was able to build a small portfolio of work which led to more clients and more business. I grew this as a side hustle for a couple of years during college, before investing in professional equipment to cover events, create promotional videos, and ultimately run my business full-time for a couple of years before deciding to go back to grad school.
I currently work as a product manager in healthcare and take on client work when I have the time - mainly showcasing the Pioneer Valley and the businesses here.
While I am not running my business full-time anymore, my love for photography and video continues to motivate me to explore new places and capture landscapes and wildlife like I did when I first started shooting. Follow me on Instagram to see my latest work.
